With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Wayne Alan Phillips, age 53. He will be forever loved and missed by his mother Gloria Austin and father Chuck Phillips, step-parents Jack Austin (predeceased), and Andrea Phillips, loving brother of Glen and Mark Phillips, sisters-in-law Lyndsay Phillips and Aly Pidgen (and daughter Reese), step-brother to Meagan Austin (Scott Sanford), Tony Millar, Adam Millar (Sarah Walker), and adopted brother-through-friendship, Paul MacEwen. Wayne had a special place in his heart, loved and adored his nieces and nephews Justin, Connor, Natalie (son Ozzy), Tyler, and Emily. He will be forever missed by his cousins, extended family, and many friends. 

Wayne was one of those special ones. He was the glue, the rock, the smile, the laugh, and the constant. He was the best of family and the best of friends. His sense of humour and wit were unmatched and forever present. He lit up rooms. He was a fierce and loyal friend, always there for the good times and the bad. He loved all he knew with all of his heart. A presence that will be irreplaceable. 

A service to celebrate Wayne’s life will be held on Saturday July 20th, 2024, at 1:00pm, at Low & Low Funeral Home in Port Perry (1763 Reach Street, Port Perry, 905-985-7331). Visitation will begin at 11:00am.
