Vito Malfara

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Vito Malfara on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the age of 63 in Port Perry, ON. He was forced to retire at 60 due to diabetes. Vito enjoyed coaching the soccer teams of Lake Simcoe Soccer Club with his three sons.

Vito is survived by his wife of 39 years Ivana, his brothers Joe and Gasper, his sister-in-law Teresa, his father-in-law Paride and step mother-in-law Elizabeth, his children Sabrina, Adam-Michael, Celestino and Mateo, his son-in-law Paul Carreiro, his daughters-in-law Yasmine and Carly, his granddaughter Caia, his niece Julia and nephews Bryan and Michael. Vito is predeceased by his mother and father Teresa and Vito, his mother-in-law Dina Paoletti and sister-in-law Allison Malfara.

A private family service will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 10a.m. To attend this service virtually, please click this LINK. Visitation will also be held on the same day from 1p.m. to 3p.m. and 5p.m. to 8p.m. As per Vito’s wishes, cremation will take place with no cemetery services. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Diabetes Association of Canada. The family wishes to thank the First Responders of Port Perry.
