Victor Robert Hazelwood

Passed away peacefully on Friday December 20, 2024 at the age of 90 years.  Beloved husband of Lena (Smallpiece) for over 70 years.  Cherished father of Sandra Coulter (Orrin) and Heather Webster (Don).  Grampa will always be loved and remembered by his grandchildren Shawn (Pamela), Rachel (Scott) and Scott (Taylor) and by his great grandchildren Avery, Tayah, Ethan, Austin and Juliette.  

Victor was born in Mattawa, Ontario and spent his early years there.  He was the youngest son of Percy and Mary Hazelwood.  Predeceased by his siblings Agnes McCrory (Frank), Edward (Janet), Norman (Frances), Olive McGregor (Charles) and Ruth Byers (Mervin).  He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Victor and Lena moved to Port Perry when Victor retired in 1998 from Standard Auto Glass after a 33 year career.  They enjoyed many years of friends and fellowship.  Victor made his choice to serve the Lord in his youth and was true to his profession until his last day.

A Funeral Service will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry on Tuesday December 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM with visitation to commence at 10:00 AM.  Interment Prince Albert Pine Grove Cemetery.  Reception to follow in the Fellowship Lounge of the funeral home.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.  Friends are invited to send condolences or make donations by visiting www.lowandlow.ca
