Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday October 5, 2024 at the age of 82 years. 

Loved and deeply missed by his wife, Iivi and by his son Aleks, daughter-in-law Elaine, and granddaughters Stella and Lily.

Also remembered by the Bezuhly family and family in Estonia and Sweden.

Urmas loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing trips over the decades, and hiking on the Uxbridge trails. His chainsaw held a special place in his heart and he loved to overstock the woodshed with logs for the woodstove. He was pretty sure this was the year the Leafs would take the Cup and he never lost faith.  He was a long time proud member of the Toronto Estonian Pistol Club and the Estonian fraternity, Sakala, where he met, what turned out to be, life long friends. He was known as a gracious host and he made friends easily. 

Cremation has been entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge. A celebration of Urmas’ life will be held at Wooden Sticks Golf Club, Uxbridge, Ontario on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 1 - 4 PM.  Friends may send condolences by visiting www.lowandlow.ca.
