It is with incredible heartbreak and sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Tammy Porter (nee McCarron) at the Toronto General Hospital on July 12th at the age of 57.

Tammy had an incredible spiritual energy that surrounded her.  She was a light-worker, always living in alignment with her soul. A beacon of light to those around her.  Sensitive and empathetic, always striving to spread positivity, light and love.

Tammy leaves behind her best friend, husband and soul mate of 29 years Larry Porter and was a fiercely proud mother of their 2 beautiful boys Noah and Samuel.  Beautiful daughter to Wayne and Sally McCarron, their firstborn child, their pride and joy.  Adoring big sister to Kelly McCarron (Luke, Jack, Nick) and Shannon Fowler (husband Keith, Tanner, Hailey, Ryan). Loving daughter in law to Joyce Porter and Melvin Porter (predeceased) and sister-in-law to Steve Waters.   April Keating (Matthew), Tammy's niece who she shared a special bond with when Tammy and Larry took her under their wing after the early passing of her Mom and Tammy's sister-in- law Linda Porter (deceased).     

Friend to all, loved by many and forever missed.

Tammy's Celebration of Life will be held at Low & Low Limited, Port Perry on Tuesday, July 29th.  Visitation will be from 11:00am – 12:00pm with tributes to begin at 12:00pm. A reception will follow on the upper level.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Trillium Gift of Life Network, Nova’s Ark, or Team Chelsea.
