Shelley Lynne Timbers Twiss

It is with overwhelming sadness that her family announces the passing of Shelley Timbers Twiss on December 6th, 2025. Shelley passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by the love of her family, at the age of 64 years. Shelley will forever be loved, remembered, and cherished by her husband, Jim, and her children, Rachel and Ian.

Shelley was deeply devoted to nurturing and caring for her two children. She truly embraced her expansive family and always loved and looked forward to events where she could spend time with them. She had a knack for anything creative and was a talented artist who created many beautiful paintings and drawings. Other passions included sewing, knitting, crafting, and gardening. A keen puzzler, she eagerly completed any puzzle in sight, from daily Wordles to 3000-piece jigsaws. She was an amazing baker who lovingly made so many incredible birthday cakes. Shelley was a sports enthusiast, playing hockey and basketball, and she loved supporting her Toronto Raptors.

Survived by siblings Merle, Wanda, Dean (Angela), Desi (Wendy), Lee (Tegan), and father Merle. Predeceased by mom Mary, and siblings Karen and Bruce. She will be missed profoundly by many.

A funeral service for Shelley will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home at 1763 Reach Street in Port Perry, Ontario on Sunday, December 14th, 2025 at 1:30pm, with visitation at 12:30pm. A reception will be held at the funeral home immediately following the service.
