Robert (Bob) Daniel Mosey

Peacefully in his 86th year, on December 28, 2021 after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Born in Toronto on December 8, 1936, Bob was a passionate educator in North York – first as a math teacher and then as a Vice-Principal. He spent over 60 summers at Pine Echo on the shores of Lake Rosseau in Muskoka, and he also enjoyed a good road trip in his always sparkling Chevy, Mercury, Caddy, or Buick. A lover of books and movies, Bob could engage family and friends in a lively conversation on a wide range of subjects including: le Carré, Ludlum, James Bond, Rich Little, The Rockford Files, Hemingway, Carry On films, and later in life, his New England Patriots. A Renaissance man, for sure.

Bob leaves his loving wife Patricia, his children Dan (Marsha), Paul (Cindy), Sue (Rich), John (Geraldine), and stepchildren in Florida, Steve (Natalie), and Jennifer. Treasured Gramps to Kathleen, Robyn, Christina, Brad, Allison, Kya, Kirsten, Jordan, and Justin. Great-Grandfather to Finn, Austin, Adyra, and Teagan. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region and/or the Lakeridge Health Port Perry Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
