DOBBIN, Richard “Gary”

August 2, 1936 – September 17, 2023

Passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday September 17, 2023 at the age of 87 years.  Loving husband of Nancy Dobbin (Campbell).  Cherished dad of Jeff (Mirella) Dobbin, Sherri (Don) Greig, Wendy Dobbin, and Pamela (Reg) Gole. Cherished grandpa of Jessica, Julia, Brandan, Krista, Adam, Matthew, Cameron, Isla and Shaefer, and great-grandpa of eleven.

If there was one thing Dad loved, it was getting together with his family and friends. Whether it was pool parties in Pickering, birthday celebrations for grandkids or any of our infamous Fam-Jams, Gary lived for his family. 

A Celebration Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 12:00-2:00pm at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry. 

As Gary would have wished, this will be an informal celebration that will give all that knew and loved him a chance to get together and share stories and memories with his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Gary would be appreciated.
