Norman J. Gourlie

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 13, 2024 at Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry at the age of 55 years.  Loved and missed by his parents Faye (nee Gordon) and Jim.  Also lovingly remembered by his sisters Tracy (Eugene) and Susan (Scott), his nieces Alyssa (Noel, Elsie and Talon) and Emily and nephew Douglas, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Norman worked for many years for his dad, Jim at Gourlie Burner Service and later took over the business when Jim retired. He was an avid supporter of the local baseball team and had many friends there. He enjoyed riding ATVs and snowmobiles as well as working on all sorts of equipment. He loved music. The louder the better! He enjoyed life and lived it the way he wanted to.

A memorial service to honour Norman’s life will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Sunday December 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM with visitation to commence at 1:00 PM.  Norm's wonderful Greenbank friends are asking you to join them for a celebration of life at the Greenbank Hall from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm.  As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers memorial donations to Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry or Uxbridge Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Friends may send condolences or make donations at www.lowandlow.ca
