Nancy Diane (Millar) Vincent


Nancy Diane Vincent passed away peacefully at Oak Ridges Hospice at the age of 77.

Nancy is predeceased by her parents Robert and Edna Miller, and her sister Jean Hamilton.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband James Vincent of 34 years.

Nancy is lovingly remembered by her daughters Lara McMahon, Colleen Morin (Andrew), and Cheryl Vincent (Jeremy); and grandchildren Miller, Alabama, and Rhys.

Nancy performed for the Toronto Argonaut Football Club pre-game and half-time shows in the 60’s. Known as the Argoettes, she was one of 32 talented dancers and baton twirling performers. They travelled and performed at other venues as well, such as the Easter Seal Show with Bob Hope, Rich Little at the O’Keefe Centre, The Mud Bowl, The Fog Bowl, The Grey Cup at the Exhibition Stadium and many other appearances. After 50 years, this troop of performers has remained dedicated friends by staying in touch and hosting annual reunions.

Nancy was an exceptional gardener and was part of the Uxbridge Garden Club for years

A Celebration of Life will be held in June at Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Po Box 388, Uxbridge.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oak Ridges Hospice, 1722 Scugog St, Port Perry, Ontario L9L 1E2.
