Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry on Saturday November 9, 2024 at the age of 66 years.  Cherished wife and best friend of Norm Van Duyn.  Loved and missed by her two sons Jason and Justin and daughter in law Jade. Beloved Grandma to Nixon, Weston, Layne, Oaklin and Laken.  Also survived by her sister Tracy.  
Nancy graduated from Durham College and started her career in office administration, working for various banks, followed by roles at Investors Group and Clintar. She retired in January 2021.
Nancy cherished her time outdoors, particularly tending to her garden. She found immense joy in entertaining, especially when invited to friend’s cottage, where planning the menu was one of her specialties. After spending Tuesday evenings golfing with the ladies at Wyndance, she would often share her thoughts on the menu with Norm before discussing the game. During the winter months, Nancy enjoyed her time in Thornbury, skiing and honing her snow carving skills. Her organizational talents also shone through as she meticulously planned their travel vacations. Above all, Nancy valued her family and took great comfort in attending her grandchildren’s school sporting events.  Despite her health over the past three years, Nancy always kept her positive outlook.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at Wooden Sticks Golf Club, 40 Elgin Park Dr, Uxbridge on Sunday December 1, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.  As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers memorial donations to Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry would be appreciated by the family.  Friends may send condolences or make donations by visiting www.lowandlow.ca
