It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael (Mike) Zuber at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on Monday November 18, 2024 at the age of 66 years.
He will be deeply missed by his best friend and wife, Eileen (nee Shulga). Dad will always be loved and remembered by Lindsay (Jamie), Randi (Rick), Bruce (Meagan), Sonya (Darcey) and Mitch. He loved being a 'Grandpa' to Owen, Cayden, Hunter, Avery, Austyn, Reese, Zack, Maeve and Paige.
His greatest love was his family, always eager to help his children whenever he could. One of his deepest joys was building the cottage, a place where he could watch his family come together and create lasting memories. Anyone who had the privilege to meet or know Mike, loved his caring, good natured, and humorous personality. We will be forever thankful for the time we got to spend with him and will hold his memories in our hearts forever.
A memorial service to honour Mike’s life will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Sunday November 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow at the Claremont Community Centre. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
