Michael Pearce

On Monday, May 1, 2023, Michael William Pearce went peacefully into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father. He was a long-time resident of Christian Horizons Durham 9 in Oshawa, Ontario.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Velda Jean Yarndley Pearce and father Garnet Michael Pearce. He is survived by his brother, Ron (Jennifer) Pearce and sister Bethany (Don) Oates.

Michael appreciated all types of music, especially when he could attend a concert. He also enjoyed swimming, vacationing, going for walks and bird watching as well as the occasional Oshawa Generals hockey game.                       

He was a lover of good foods and a specialty coffee was his favorite way to start the day. Michael is immensely loved and will be deeply missed by family and friends, most especially his precious Christian Horizons family who have watched over him and poured into his daily life for so many years.

Michael’s life will be celebrated in private and no public service will be held. He will be laid to rest with his loving parents at Salmo Cemetery in Salmo, British Columbia. Donations in Michaels memory may be made to Christian Horizons.
