Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in his 68th year. Wonderful Husband to Joanne for 47 years. Proud Father to Nicholas (Sarah). Caring Grampa to Breylynn and Presley. Mo is survived by his siblings Charlie, Larry (Vicki), Denise (Paul), Simone, Georgette (Ted), Jean-D’Arc (Norman) and Henri (Lydia), his sister-in-law Sharon (Guy) and brothers-in-law Raymond (Heather), David (Cassie), Maurice, Leon and Yvon. He will also be missed by his nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, extended family and friends. Maurice is predeceased by his parents Augustine and Roland, siblings Hector, Rolande, Marie-Paul, Rita, Lise, Gaston and brother-in-law Derek.
Maurice lived his life to the fullest enjoying his family and friends. He was born in northern Ontario and was one of 14 brothers and sisters. He loved fishing, boating, vacationing and a great round of golf. Maurice spent his summers in the Kawartha’s, enjoying what he loved the most. Time spent with his family and friends were held close to his heart. He was a proud Grampa of his granddaughters and enjoyed spending his days taking them for walks, making his famous pancakes and sharing ice cream with them
Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 6:30p.m. to 7p.m. and 7:30p.m. to 8p.m. to schedule a time to visit with the family, please call (905) 985-7331 between the hours of 9a.m. and 5p.m. as attendance within the facility is limited.
