Mary Kathrin (Krauss) Chevis (Jones)

Passed away surrounded by her loving children at Oak Ridges Hospice on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Mary had a very full life as a proud loving single mother of three children. She was predeceased by her parents who came to Canada from Romania- Joseph and Barbara Krauss and her brothers Frank and Jack Krauss. She is survived by her amazing sister-in-laws Marian Krauss and Judy Krauss, her loving children Linda Mochulla (John), Jim Jones (Karen) and Brian Jones. Adored grandmother to Corinna & Cameron, Kayla & Krista, Michelle Burdick (Josh), Samantha Bosiljevac (Erik), Brandi Mochulla (Natalie), Angel Mochulla (Brendon), Tony Berlino and cherished great grandmother, known as GG, to Ivy-Rose, Jacob, Ethan, Amelia, Cooper, Taylor, Ryerson, Sydney, James, Olivia, Alyssa, Sierra, Vienna and Antonio.

According to Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry (905-985-7331) on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 12p.m. until 3p.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Oak Ridges Hospice of Durham, in Port Perry would be appreciated by the family.
