It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Marilyn Owen at the Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry, on July 23,2025 at the age of 88. Beloved wife and life partner of the late Jack Owen (d. May 26,2023). Much loved and devoted mother of Kim Owen (Paul), Bill Owen (Kim) and Kelly van den Berg (Eckhard). Cherished and loved Grandmother of Jenna Owen-Hogg (Steven), Mitchell van den Berg (Yulianna Kim), Kelsey Owen-Cooper (Trenton) and Alex van den Berg. She loved her grandchildren immensely and was so very proud of them all.

Predeceased by her parents Rose and Bill Walker, her beloved Sister Joan Mark, her sister-in-law Wilma Bryan and her husband Roy. Fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Don Mark. Fondly remembered and cherished Aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who she always kept in touch with and cared deeply for.

Born in Oshawa Ontario on June 5, 1937, Marilyn Owen was a lifelong Port Perry resident. In her retirement she loved to sew and craft and was a member of several local quilting guilds. Known for her kind & feisty nature, she will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
