Marian Elizabeth (Hunter) Bellamy

BELLAMY, Marian Elizabeth (née Hunter) - After fighting strong for over two years, and with her family by her side, Marian passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 62 in Sunderland, Ontario. Marian was the loving wife of Gary for over 40 years. She will be greatly missed by her children Andrew Bellamy (Tralee), Duncan Bellamy (Bengisu), Chelsea Speers (Luke), and her three grandsons. Marian was the cherished daughter of Dennis Hunter (Beth) and the late Barbara Hunter. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Kathleen Bowes (Dennis), brother David Hunter (Wendy), mother and father-in-law Ray and Iona, sister-in-law Judi Francis (Mark), chosen sister Johanne Cleyn (Mike Robinson), and her nieces and nephews.

Marian valued family and friends, hard work, honesty, and strength. She has been described as a force of nature, and that she was. She always spoke her mind and fiercely supported those she loved. Marian had a passion for genealogy, researching for herself and helping so many others. She had a love for quilting, reading, and scrapbooking. Marian left her family and friends with years' worth of photo memories to cherish.

Marian will be missed by her family and friends; her legacy will continue through her loved ones.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to ALS Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
