Passed Peacefully, with his family at his side, on June 8, 2022. Predeceased by his wife of 66 years Pauline (Carriere) in 2019. Born, January 25, 1928 in Glen Robertson, Ontario, Louie was the 11th of 15 children born to Jenny (Cholette) and Arthur Seguin.
Louie and Pauline Carriere were married in 1953 in Alexandria, Ontario. They began married life in Toronto where Louie worked for Domtar, until 1965 when he moved the family to Uxbridge. Louie built and ran Uxbridge Auto Wreckers for 30 years until retirement.
Louie is Survived by his 4 children: Annette (Steve) Snoddon, Pierrette (Andrew) Kiedrowski, Richard and Carole (Steve) Gates. By his Sister Rita Bouchard of Cornwall (now in her 100th year). By 6 Grandchildren: Andrew, Katie, Natalie, Madeline, Dylan and Samantha; and by 6 Greatgrandchildren: Clara, Isaac, Zander, Hazel, Elliott and Auston.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Box 388, Uxbridge L9P 1M8 (905-852-3073). Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 15TH from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be in the Chapel on Thursday, June 16TH at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Uxbridge Cemetery.
