Passed away at Butternut Manor, Uxbridge on Sunday February 2, 2025 at the age 90 years. Loving wife of Joseph Karner. Cherished mother of Peter (Gina), Lynda Trousdale (Craig), Randy (Diane) and Joseph (Evelyn). Also loved and remembered by her grandchildren Lindsay, Mackenzie, Morgan, Paige, Tara, Joey, Jade, Mariah (Carlos) and Melody and by her great grandson Mateo.
The last of ten children Lieselotte travelled alone across the Atlantic Ocean to start a new life in Canada. She loved to dance and met her husband Joe in downtown Toronto clubs in the 1950’s. She had four children herself. She was a devoted mother that always put the kids first. She liked to cook but mostly loved to eat. Coffee and cake were her favourites. Art was a joy for her and many paintings were hung in her impeccably clean house. She never missed an episode of Coronation Street. As time went by a bit of travel and her nine grandchildren were her sources of pleasure.
Cremation has been entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Uxbridge Food Bank would be appreciated by the family. Friends are invited to send condolences by visiting www.lowandlow.ca
