Kathleen Sheila Patterson

With heavy hearts and great sadness Sheila Kathleen Patterson passed away peacefully with family by her side at Oak Ridge Hospice, Port Perry on April 5, 2024 at the age of 88.

Beloved wife of the late Donald Patterson. Sheila was a loving mother, and is survived by daughter Heather and son-in-law Ken Sucee. She was an adored grandmother of Jeff and his wife Julie, and her granddaughter Meaghan and her husband Andrew, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends, especially her bestie Delaine Dyer.

Sheila was very active in the community, with the volunteering at Camille’s Closet and 27 years volunteering at the Lakeridge Health Port Perry. She loved playing cards, going for walks, cats and dancing, and Sheila would light up a room with just her presence. Her laugh and smile that was contagious, and she will leave behind a large void.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Oak Ridges Hospice or Lakeridge Health Port Perry Hospital. Both gave amazing care to Shelia in her final days.

A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry, ON.
