Kai (Kayla) Lantigua
February 13, 1997 – November 15, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our cherished child, Kai, at the age of 27. Kai is deeply loved and missed by his mom, Karen Lantigua, dad, Gary O'Brien, and brother, Stuart O'Brien. Fondly remembered by grandparents Neil and the late Mary McWatt, and Mary and William O'Brien. Kai will be dearly missed by uncles Neil McWatt, Paul O'Brien, and Dave O'Brien; cousins Ki and Seia McWatt; his partner Al Singh, and many dear friends.
Described by all who knew him as one of the kindest souls they had ever met, Kai's brilliance shone brightly in all he pursued. A graduate of Carleton University with a degree in Psychology and Durham College with a diploma in Video Production, Kai was incredibly talented, driven, and creative.
Kai's true legacy lies in the lives he touched. His compassion, empathy, and unwavering kindness will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge, on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10 a.m. for visitation, followed by a service at 11 a.m., with refreshments to follow.
In lieu of flowers, to honor Kai's passion for these organizations, donations may be made to CAMH or Covenant House.
