John H Meek

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Meek.  After a long battle with Cancer, he is finally at peace.  He is predeceased by his Mom and Dad; Harvey and Freda and only brother Murray.  He will be cherished by his wife; Karen of 37 years.  Loving father of Don (Sharon) Meek, Bonnie Truckle, Brad (Nichola) Meek and Megan Meek.  Grandpa to Chelsea (Tyler) Wilson, Geoff (Brianna) Meek, Mitchell (Taylor) Truckle, Mariah Truckle (Sebastian), Madison Truckle and Callum Welsh-Meek.  Great Grandpa to Walker and Oaklynn Wilson and Amelia Meek.  He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law; Mary Ann Meek, Joanne (Kevin) Banfield, Deborah (Jerry) Wilson, Heather Apolcer and Brenda (Armand) Bourgoin.  Will forever be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Relatives and friends are invited to call at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South on Sunday March 16, 2025 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM and on Monday March 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at which time a funeral service will be held in the Chapel (a livestream of the ceremony will be available on Monday). Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 170, 109 Franklin St, Uxbridge Interment Sandford Cemetery in the spring.
