It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Murray Colby at his home in Uxbridge, Ontario on February 18, 2025 at the age of 89 years old. Husband of the late Anne Helen Colby (Clark), cherished father to Barry (Sandra), Brad (Jodi) and Connie (Ted) McIntyre. Wonderful Papa to Michelle (Reg), Krista (Wes), Breanna (Randy), Jake (Brooke), Dylan (Serena) and Emily (Mark). Proud Pops to JD, Carly, Brennan, Bridgette, Colby, Ila and Jett. Remembered by his sister Eleanor Dunn and his brother Ross Colby (Alice). John will also be missed by his many friends. John is predeceased by his parents Howard and Jennie Colby and his twin-sister, Joan Hope.
As per John’s request, there will be no funeral service. A private grave-side ceremony will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
