Passed away peacefully at Butternut Manor in Uxbridge, Ontario on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at the age of 89. She will be missed by her daughters Christine Holden (Stan) and Carolynne Cornwell (David). Loved by her grandchildren Brian Holden (Tricia), Laura Holden (Avinash), Megan Baran-Lalonde (Christopher) and Taylor Vecchiarelli (James). Reunited in heaven with her husband Gordon of 59 years of marriage.

 Janet spent her entire working career in banking, starting at Scotiabank and ending with the Royal Bank in Markham. Janet and Gord loved summers at Skyline Trailer Park with Hank and Donna, Heinz and Frauka, Jerry and Sharon, Gord and Nova, and Mike and Marlyn. Looking to continue that small town feel, Janet and Gord moved from Markham to Uxbridge in 1993. Both were active in the Uxbridge Seniors Centre where they enjoyed playing Shuffleboard and were avid Lawn Bowlers. We would like to thank the staff and friends at Butternut Manor for making her last 3 years enjoyable and memorable.
