Passed away at Uxbridge Hospital on Friday July 18, 2025 at the age of 69 years.  Jim is loved and remembered by his daughters Tera-Lee Tran and Jayme-Lyn by his cat and best friend; D.J.  Also remembered by his grandchildren Christian, Jacob and Tylar Tran.  Predeceased by his parents; Freda and Joseph, sister Carolyn Williams and brother Bill Tran. Jim is remembered by his siblings Bob Tran (Barb) Betty Jean Hall (Hank), Cathy Gibson (Joseph), Christine Tran.  Also remembered by Paul Osborne.

Jim had too many good friends to list them all here from those friends he worked with, to the multiple decades long friendships of neighbours, coworkers and family that stopped by on a regular basis to have an old Milwaukee (or 2,3 or more) while they reminisce, laugh and tell trucking or farming stories. You all were so very important to Jim and he knew he was important to you all as well!! He will be missed by so many.

Jim loved his job. He drove trucks for most of his life. When not at work you could find him enjoying a cold beer with one of his many friends or loved ones.   He found joy on the weekends maintaining his lawn to near perfection on his John Deere tractor.  His GMC truck was second best to the John Deere. 

Cremation has been entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge Chapel.  A celebration of Jim’s life will be organized by his daughters to be held at Jim’s house  in September. Friends are invited to send condolences or make donations to a charity of their choice by visiting www.lowandlow.ca.
