BURNS, Irene Jean

Peacefully at Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington on February 9, 2024 at the age of 91 years. Pre-deceased by her sister Betty (nee Meyer) and brother Clifford. Survived by two nephews, Stephen and Andrew (Karen) Meyer, grandnieces, Kristen (Chris), Elin (Ray), Victoria and grandnephew, Hank III(Megan) and great-grandnephews, Oliver and Brody and great-grand nieces, Evelyn and Rosaleigh.

Irene was born in Sudbury and spent her early years there until moving to Brampton where she was a resident for many years. She worked as a Title Searcher for law offices in Brampton for most of her professional life, but also worked for CN Rail.

As per Irene’s wish, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or to The Canadian Cancer Society.
