Helen Rowlands

1948-2024

Helen Rowlands (nee Loranger) of Port Perry, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 12, 2024. She leaves behind her husband Michael of 52 years, daughter Jessica (Chris) Hermiz, grandchildren Molly and Jackson, her beloved brother Paul (Pattie) Loranger, and their son Jason, and special friends Bernice Morrison and Karen Leduc. 

Predeceased by her sister Susan Hendricks.  Helen leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Helen was born and raised in Shawinigan Quebec, moving to Toronto/GTA in her late teens. She married Michael in 1972, and they later moved to Markham where they raised their daughter Jessica. Once retired, she settled in Port Perry with her husband.

Helen had a big passion for gardening, birds and travel. She delighted in spending summers with her grandchildren in Wasaga beach.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry.
