Harrold and Nellie Pearson

Harrold Pearson December 30th 1923 – March 30th 2023

Nellie D. Pearson (nee Morehen) May 18th 1927 – April 1st 2017

“SOUL MATES FOREVER”

They were born and grew up in Toronto with outstanding parents and a total of 7 sisters and 7 brothers.  Their time together started on a blind date that lasted for over 65 years.

Nellie & Harrold were unbelievable caring parents that raised a family of two daughters (Penny & Susan) in East York where they established and experienced many great values to life.

Eventually it was retirement and moving to a home in Sandford, Ontario in the early 1980’s.

They enjoyed their gardens and going for long walks.  They received great pleasure in planning and taking trips across Canada, throughout the United States and even the Caribbean, however the most important journey in their lives was time spent with family.   

Nellie passed away in 2017 and Harrold spent his final 6 years at Douglas Crossing in Uxbridge where he endeared himself to new friends and many staff members.  He always looked forward to visits from family and found great pleasure in reminiscing about his past.  He passed away in 2023 at 99 years old.

Loved and never to be forgotten by daughters Penny (Denny), Susan (Doug), grandchildren Kory (Shirley), Bradley (Nicki), Jason (Jess), Taylor (Steve), and great grandchildren  Jakob, Shaeden, AJ, Colton & Emily.

IT TRULY WAS A WONDERFUL LIFE.

A private family celebration of life for Nellie & Harrold will be held at a later date.
