Grace Elizabeth "Liz" Sheedy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Grace Elizabeth (Liz) Sheedy who left us peacefully on March 20, 2025, at the age of 87. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and nana, whose love and faith touched all who knew her.

Born on January 24, 1938, Liz Sheedy was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church and lived her life in faith, love, and service to others. She was a kind and caring woman who embraced her Catholic faith with all her heart, always finding strength in prayer, devotion, and the sacraments. Liz had an unwavering dedication to her volunteer work with Hospice and visiting the elderly.

Liz leaves behind her loving husband of 65 years Tony Sheedy. Mother to her children Michael (Jill), Mark (Wendy), Lorraine (Darren), Monica, Valerie (Gary). Nana to fourteen beautiful grandchildren Thomas, Dylan, Katie, Courtney, Cameron, Erin, Jake, Melanie, Ryan, Graham, James, Jacqueline, Stephanie & Karlene and with countless friends and other family members who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Michael Anthony Sheedy.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Low & Low Funeral home. A service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St Vincent de Paul Society or a charity of your choice

We take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of the Lord, reunited with those who have gone before her, and at peace in His eternal embrace.

May she rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon her.
