Passed away tragically on September 26, 2024 at the age of 58. Loved and missed by his wife of 29 years; Wendie. Dad will always be remembered by Caleb (Alicia), Lucas, Jaden, and Josh (Jocelyn). Glen will be remembered by his parents Ruth and Reg and sister Teresa (Rob) and by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Kelly.
Glen had a passion for teaching, whether it was educating his children, mentoring youth in cadets, or instructing the truck driving program at Durham College. His devotion was to his wife, children, and family, with family being of utmost importance to him. One of his most treasured achievements was maintaining the family tree. Glen took pleasure in curating his whiskey collection, often hosting tasting sessions at home with his children and friends. He had a love for the outdoors, having been a hunter and fisherman in his younger days and enjoying backcountry canoeing with his children. Glen considered himself an amateur craftsman and excelled in all his endeavors. Known for his humorous remarks, he provided comic relief at gatherings with his clever wit. Despite his introverted nature, people were naturally drawn to him.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, a celebration of Glen’s life was entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Port Perry.
