George William Gillett

Passed away at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on May 28, 2026 at the age of 89 years.  Loved and missed by his sons Mark and Scott (Samantha) and grandchildren Conall and Logan.  Also survived by his sister-in-law Mary and dear friend of Angela Quinn.  Predeceased by his brother John. 

George came over from England in 1962 and worked for many years as salesman representing numerous companies. He loved the country-side and playing golf with his friends and family.

A Celebration of George’s life will be held at Douglas Crossing Retirement Living, 6 Douglas Road, Uxbridge on Sunday June 7, 2026 from 2:00 – 3:30 PM.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 170 would be appreciated by George’s family.  Friends are invited to share memories, express condolences or make donations by contacting Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge at www.lowandlow.ca.
