Gary Potter

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Potter, 73, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, on August 10, 2024. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Shirley; children, Erin (Jason), Jodi (Carl), and Alexis (Cole); and grandchildren, Marcus, Amelia, Aidan, and Cooper. Cherished son of Lorraine and the late Edward.  Dear brother of David (Linda), Karen Paterson (Gilbert), Laurel McGuckin (Keith), Lorne (Kim). Gary will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Gary was highly regarded by both family, coworkers, clients and friends. He was consistent and reliable, always willing to help out in a time of need. Gary loved sports, an avid Leafs and Steelers fan, he played hockey for much of his life. He loved riding his bike with his grandchildren, taking them to play mini putt and for car rides in his Porsche. If you knew Gary, you knew his true passion was for cars, which he turned into a successful career.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 from 1pm-4pm at Mill Run Golf Club, in the Ballroom.
