Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Uxbridge Hospital on Tuesday January 7, 2025 at the age of 90 years. Cherished husband of 68 years to Grace (nee Simpson). Loved and remembered by his children Ronald (Ruth), Robert (Mary), Catherine Mouflier (Richard), Garry (Debbie) and Murray. Beloved grandpa of Adam (Kendra), Aaron (Esther), Teena (Tyler), Scott (Christina), Evan, Jeffrey, Melanie (Reuben), Nicholas (Ashley), Jaired, Karissa and Danielle and great grandpa of Norah, Silas, Watson, Bethany, Cole, Cameron, Austin, Chase and Evelyn. Predeceased by his parents Wilfrid and Gladys Evans; siblings; Laurence, Ross, Mildred, David and Doreen. Survived by his sister Doris Hockley
Floyd was a strong man with a big heart. He was born and raised on a dairy farm and that was his chosen profession as well. He was involved in his Church and community. Upon his retirement, carpentry became his passion, building many items for family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Friday January 17, 2025 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. A private funeral service will be celebrated by the family. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Food Grains Bank would be appreciated by the family.
