Eva Wilma (Yelovich) Shrubshall

Passed away at Uxbridge Hospital on Sunday June 28, 2026 at the age of 89 years.  Predeceased by the love of her life; Bruce (2014).  Loved and missed by her daughter Deborah Verschuren and by her grandchildren Madison Verschuren (Damin Noss) and Jesse Verschuren.  Also survived by her sister Beth Holdaway (Gord) and brother-in-law John Misetich. Predeceased by her sister Ann Misetich and brother Peter Yelovich.

We will be forever grateful for the bond Eva had with her caregivers; Deb, Carolina and Rhonda who loved her dearly.

Our beloved mother/grandmother will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love and wisdom she shared with her family.

Her daughter Debbie will cherish their time together, holding close the countless memories, stories, weekly visits, and daily phone calls they shared. Even as her health declined, their special conversations continued right until the end, a testament to their strong bond.

Her grandson Jesse shared a unique and lasting connection with her, speaking weekly and building a relationship filled with meaningful conversations and love. Their bond was truly special and will always be remembered.

Her granddaughter Madison will forever miss her encouragement, thoughtful advice, and the way she made her feel so deeply loved. She thought the world of both Madison and Jesse and was known as the most intelligent woman they knew, always making those around her feel valued and special.

Cremation has been entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge and a private family ceremony will be held in Eva’s memory.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.  Friends are invited to share memories, express condolences or make donations www.lowandlow.ca.
