Ellie Kuipers

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Mother, Oma, and wife Ellie Kuipers (nee Hoogstra). Ellie passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 14th, 2023, in Port Perry Ontario at the age of 79.

Ellie is survived by her loving husband Allen of 58 years.

Loving Mother to Dan and John, adored Mother-in-Law to Jeanine and Tisha, and cherished Oma to Sierra, Jaylin, Nolan and Jeremy.

Daughter to Ritska (deceased) and Elsiena (deceased), beloved sister to Jannie, Klaas, Tinie, Lien (deceased), Annie (deceased), Richard (deceased), Sien (deceased) , John (deceased).

Ellie was born in Groningen, Holland in 1944 and immigrated to Canada when she was 6 years old with her family in 1950.

Ellie will be forever missed and remembered by family and friends.

A celebration of life reception will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home located at 1763 Reach Street in Port Perry on Thursday, September 21st 2023, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
