Dorothy (McCullough) Orr

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry on Friday June 13, 2025 at the age of 94.  Wife of the late John Orr. She was predeceased by her daughter Noreen. Loved and always remembered by her son Neil (late Heather) and granddaughters Alex (Tim) and Hilary. Much loved “GG” to Knox, Jonathan and Jaxon. Dorothy was predeceased by her sisters Betty and Nora and is survived by her brother Allen.

For those close to Mom, you have witnessed the evolution of her Card Making and artistic talents as they advanced. She will be remembered for her sober Irish wit and energy, as well being the Best GG EVER !

Moms move to Uxbridge (Shobrook Gardens) 2010,  gave her a new lease on life and was the catalyst to her embracing life. Her move to Douglas Crossing allowed her to retain her zest for life and independence until she passed.    

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Dorothy’s life at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Wednesday July 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM with visitation to commence at 11:00 AM.  Reception to follow.  Friends are invited to send condolences or make donations to Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry by visiting www.lowandlow.ca
