​Dorothy Louisa (nee Goodier) Nolan

Treasured wife and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

Passed away at the age 90 at Douglas Crossing in Uxbridge, a longtime resident of Sheba’s Island at West Lake, ON and Belleville, ON.  Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Nolan. Cherished mother of Sandra Neufeld and husband Jim of Port Perry and the late John and wife Kathleen of Mississauga. Loved Grandma of Eric (Tricia), Erin (Billy), Alyce (Jason), Laurel (Zack), Robert and John Patrick. Proud Nanny G of Hazel.

Dear sister of the late Patricia (the late John) Morris, the late Rev. Ted (the late Barbara) Goodier. Dear sister-in-law of William (the late Noreen) Nolan, the late Jean (the late John) Casey, the late Donald (the late Winnie) Nolan and the late Helen (the late Herb) Moon. She will be missed by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Many thanks to the wonderful people at Douglas Crossing who cared for Mum with such love and compassion.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry (905-985-7331).

Visitation will take place at the Low & Low Funeral Home on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:30p.m. followed by a Catholic Prayer Service at 2:30p.m. with Father Keith Wallace presiding. A reception will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers and if so desired, a donation in Mum’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
