Dorothy Irene (Richardson) Baker

Family matriarch Dorothy Irene Baker ( nee Richardson ) left Earth peacefully to be received into God’s loving arms to join her husband Stanley Warren James Baker ( d 2012 ) on February 28, 2025.

A beautiful soul, loved, cherished and remembered by her son Bradley Baker ( Cathryn ) and daughter Susan Hopkins ( Christopher d 2017 ). Grandma was the cheerleader and supporter for her grandchildren Jocelyn Conner ( Christopher ) Jeff Baker ( Jessica ), Carolyn ( d 1992 ), Mackenzie Baker ( Devon), Tyler Hopkins (Vikki ) and Spencer . Affectionately known as GG to her great grandchildren, Addison and Avery Conner and Emerson, Ackerly and Oakley Baker.

Mom’s day to day life was guided by her Saviour as she showed her family how to work, support, love and play. A great responsibility remains with us to carry on her teachings.

 A Celebration of Life will be held at Sandford United Church 405 Sandford Road, Sandford on Friday April 4, 2025 at 1 PM. A reception will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge from 2:30 to 4:30 PM.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Uxbridge Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
