Dominique Merminod

Loving Husband of Kathy Merminod (nee Cooper), Father of Anthony and Alexandra Merminod, Stepfather to Katrina, Kristopher and Kassidy. Beloved son of Eugene Merminod, and Elisabeth Merminod (nee Rod), brother of Christine Merminod (Robert Di Girolamo), Uncle to Sara and Evia Di Girolamo.

Dominique will always be remembered for his passion for his family, cows, gardening. He failed to sit still and always had an elaborate project on the go. Fiercely proud of his family and known for his smile and antics. He was passionate about everything he did – always giving 200%. Well known and respected for the quality of cattle he bred, his knowledge of genetics, humbleness about his own accomplishments, pride in the accomplishments of his children and willingness to offer help, advice or his opinion. His varied interests and depth of knowledge were often remarked on. His death has left a huge void for all that knew him but none more so than his family.   

Visitation will be at the Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry L9L1A6 (905-985-7331) on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., and on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m.  A reception will follow at the Funeral Home. 

Memorial donations to CAMH would be appreciated by the family.
