It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Dianne Lamb (née Snider) on July 25, 2025, at the age of 88.

Born on November 1, 1936, Dianne lived a life marked by kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jim Lamb, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and cherished memories.

Dianne will be lovingly remembered by her children Nancy Lamb (Beaton MacKenzie), Kathy Dickens (née Lamb) (Russell), Andrew Lamb, and Jennifer Lamb (Jay Likely).  She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Sarah and Spencer Dickens, and Christopher and Kimberly Walcer, who brought her endless joy and pride.

A caring and committed nurse for over 40 years, Dianne touched countless lives with her warmth, skill, and compassion. Beyond her career, she found joy in simple pleasures—cheering on her Toronto Blue Jays and sharing her gift of music by playing piano and organ at her church. Her music, faith, and sense of community brought comfort and joy to many.

Dianne will be remembered for her quick wit, her resilience, her generosity of spirit, and her deep love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, music, and quiet strength that will continue to guide her family for generations to come.

A celebration of Dianne’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Goodwood United Church; 3999 Concession 3 Rd, Goodwood; at 2p.m.  All are welcome to attend Dianne and James’s (Jim) joint internment at the Goodwood Cemetery at 3:30p.m or to meet for fellowship at the Goodwood Community Centre; 268 Durham Regional Hwy 47; at 4p.m.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the charity of their choice.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
