Diane Elizabeth (Taylor) Kerr

With heavy hearts we are sharing the passing of Diane Elizabeth Kerr on Sunday October 20, 2024 at the age of 84 years.  She is reunited with her best friend and love of her life Ron Kerr and beloved granddaughter Emily Jane Kerr.

The eldest daughter born to Earl & Dorothy Taylor (Campbell).  She was born in Toronto, Ontario. 

Diane is survived by and will be dearly missed by her sister Doreen and brother-in-law Paul Weeks, cherished sister-in-law Cindy Walker (Doug).  Predeceased by her sister-in-law Elizabeth (Sue) Dellow (Dave).

Ron & Diane built a beautiful life together, welcoming two sons, Scott (Ellen Peterman) and Steven.  Diane was blessed to be adored by her step grandchildren, Josh, Brianna (Jeff Leuschner) and Ben.   A kindred spirit and special auntie to her nephews Brad Weeks (Rhonda), Greg Weeks and Adam Weeks (Kate), Laura Walker (Doug), Michael Walker (Anita), Sandra Dellow (Sam) and Joanne Dellow.  Great auntie to Brandon, Cameron & Jake, Meghan & Luke, Nicholas & Jake, Matthew & Samantha, Alyssa & Brett.  She is deeply loved by her many cousins whom she loved to spend time with.

Everlasting friendships are the glue that hold us together, the extraordinary bonds that help us weather the storms of time and life’s everchanging circumstances – Diane was blessed with an abundance of loyal, dedicated, lifelong friends.  We would like to make special mention of a few that we consider part of our extended family…To Violet, Faith, Arlene, Jessie, Jean, Nadine, Isabel, Pat & Joan (along with their respective spouses and children) – thank you for the years of friendship, love, laugh and support; she always considered you part of her family as do Scott, Steven & family.

Diane was the life of the party, always had a smile for everyone and was up for any adventure.  Her lifelong friendships are a testament to the kind of person that she was.  She was a kind hearted person, loving mother, dedicated wife and her sense of humour was second to none!

A heartfelt thank you to our Douglas Crossing Family & Resident Friends – Stacey, Krista, Jenny & Lana - thank you for all you and your teams do! You provided her with so much joy over the last couple of years.

Cremation has been entrusted to Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge.   A celebration of Diane’s life well lived will be held at Wooden Sticks Golf Club, 40 Elgin Park Drive, Uxbridge, Ontario on November 2nd from 1 – 5 pm, all are welcome.
