It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Debbie. Peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 with family by her side, at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 66.
Predeceased by her husband Doug Hunt, her parents Douglas and Elizabeth Livingstone, and her brother Cameron Livingstone. Debbie will be greatly missed by her sisters Kelly Miller (Jim) and Kathy Emmorey, as well as her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends, especially her partner in crime Bev Dempsey. A huge thank you to her friend Bonnie, Debbie looked forward to your weekly visits and appreciated all you did for her, as did her family.
Debbie made such an impact on every person who had the pleasure of crossing her sparkly path. She treated everyone like family and gave her kindness and love without any limitations. She was well known throughout the firm at RBC, Toronto office, where she worked for 35 years before retiring. She was a long-time summer resident of the Trout Water Trailer Park in Sunderland, where she entertained many children with her creative games, crafts, and parties over the years. She was an exceptional Girl Guides volunteer/leader for over 40 years, where her girls were like family to her. Debbie was an unbelievably kind and thoughtful person. She was always thinking of others and giving little gifts to everyone, especially her much loved dishcloths and tea towels. She could knit with her eyes closed! Her cheerful glittery personality and unconditional love will be missed by all.
A special thank you to all the staff at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre that were a part of Debbie’s team for their care and compassion towards Debbie and her family during her stay there. Your kindness will always be remembered. As per Debbie’s wishes, cremation has taken place, a gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to Girl Guides of Canada. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge (905) 852-3073.
