Deborah "Debby" Ruth (Jennings) Miller

Debby passed away at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday August 27, 2025 at the age of 64 years. Loved and missed by her husband Steve Wilson. Beloved mom of Scott (Chealsey) and Jeffrey Miller and step-mom of Brooke and Chris (Lauren) Wilson. Loving daughter of Pauline (late Gerald) and sister Kim (Arif). Much loved sister-in-law of Wayne Wilson (Marcia), Phillip Wilson (Jennifer), sisters Christine Wilson and Janette Potts and devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Debby was an amazing mother. She loved her boys! She often attended Blue Jays’ games with Scott and was always up for ‘thrifting’ with Jeff. One of her greatest highlights was the recent marriage of Scott and Chealsey. Debby was cherished by her husband Steve, and well-loved by her family and many friends.

For several years, Debby worked as an administrator/accounting assistant at Shikatani Lacroix Design in Toronto. In her final days, she worked at Mark’s, finding much joy in her relationships with her co-workers.

Debby has battled cancer since January 2019. She was determined to survive, and faced each medical challenge with a positive attitude, and strong faith in God. She would say, “God’s got this!” Debby and Steve experienced God’s peace as they walked together on her cancer journey, supported in prayer by many, including their much-loved small group at Uxbridge Baptist Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at Uxbridge Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Uxbridge Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow. Family and close friends interment at the Foster Memorial.
