David (Dave) Tomkinson

After fighting lymphoma to the bitter end, Dave chose to go out on his own terms on April 9, 2024 in his 62nd year. Loving husband of Lori, proud father of Luke (Danielle) and Megan (Wyatt). Much loved big brother of Doug, and Mike (Shelagh). Dave was loved and will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and many who met him. 

Dave was the proud owner of Luesby Memorial Company for 35 years. After training under his father, Dave continued the traditions of excellence and craftsmanship in Monument building. His compassion, knowledge and generosity will be sorely missed. 

Dave was past president and member of the Udora-Leaskdale Lions Club for 33 years. He was a dedicated member of many community groups through the years and embodied the ideals of service. 

Visitation will be held at Low and Low Funeral Home (23 Main Street South, Uxbridge, ON) at 9:00 a.m. Monday April 15th, 2024 with the funeral held at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Foster Memorial Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dave can be made to the Arthritis Society, The Stronach Cancer Centre, or the Margaret Bahen Hospice. Friends and family are invited to share their memories at lowandlow.ca
