David Arthur Fulford Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of David Arthur Fulford announce his untimely passing at Oak Ridges Hospice on September 22, 2024. Born February 17, 1966 to Brian and Dorothy Fulford in Brampton, Ontario, he came to Port Perry in 1967. He will be missed by his parents, his longtime companion Joanne Hisey and their sons Braeden and Graysen. His sisters Coramae (Freddie) Slute and Dora Lyn (Steven) Hicks are devastated, they spent the last three weeks with him – a loving trio. His nieces, great nieces and great nephews will miss him as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins.
David, the bearded tow truck driver for Brian’s Towing, will not be travelling the area roads anymore. Starting at 16 years old under the watchful eye of his father Brian, the original, David towed for 42 years. He earned the Tower of the Year Award from CAA for 2 years running, he still holds the title.
David was a strong man, who was gentle and friendly. Old friends, or new acquaintances were greeted with a smile and cheery hello. He was always willing to lend a hand.
Although David was proud of his two trophies from CAA, ending his career at the top of his profession, he was most proud of his two sons Braeden and Graysen.
A Celebration Gathering will be held on October 5, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00pm at Low & Low Limited, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry.
