It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Davey on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 at Markham Stouffville Hospital surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Mary Anne (nee Moore) for 68 years. Predeceased by his parents Mary Ellen and Dudley, and his sister Lena. Loving father of Mary Lou Dainard (Ben), Christine Smith and Elizabeth Lee (Bill). Grandfather of Paul Dainard (Bronte) and Katherine Dainard (Dane); Courtney, Danielle and Carly Smith; Andrew Lee (Jasmin) and Jennifer MacDonald (Ben). Great grandfather of Jacob, Luke and Logan Lee, and Hannah, Blake and Paige MacDonald.

Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street S., Uxbridge (905-852-3073) on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 12p.m. to 3p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 11a.m. with visitation for one hour prior. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held. Davey will be laid to rest at the Hartman Cemetery.
