Always remembered by his daughter Samantha Barrett, step-children Evan Traynor and Josh and Jeff Millman and grandson William. Dan loved the Toronto Maple Leafs, fishing, anything on the BBQ and a good rum and coke (had to be white Bacardi). Dan was known for “Dan the Man”. He was always there to lend a helping hand, had unwavering patience and was a jokester in his best moments. He was a butcher at IGA in Uxbridge for years and a great one that. He then spent the next 20 + years working at Emerson Electric in Markham as a lead maintenance technician.
A memorial service will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Monday May 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior. Friends are invited to share memories and express condolences by visiting www.lowandlow.ca.
