McGUCKIN, Alymer Clare  “Clare”

October 30, 1934 - October 20, 2023

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the age of 88.  Predeceased by his wife Noreen, nee Faulkner.  Much loved father to Karen ( Rob ), Keith ( Laurel) and Kevin ( Lori-Anne).  Cherished grandfather to Kate ( Adam ), Jeff ( Claire), Matthew ( Meg), Kelsey, Megan, Connor ( Patricia) and Heather ( Dave).  Loving Great Grandpa to Everleigh.  Clare will be missed by many , including extended family and friends in his community and Douglas Crossing. He was a respected Bank Manager for several years and spent much of his retirement travelling, golfing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at Douglas Crossing for their care and compassion over the past several months.  

Relatives and friends are invited to call at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge, on Friday October 27, 2023, from 7-9 pm.  A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday October 28, 2023 at 4 pm with visitation from 3-4 pm.  As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Arthritis Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.  Friends may send condolences at www.lowandlow.ca.
