Carrie passed away peacefully on Friday October 25, 2024 at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood at the age of 84 years.  Loving wife of the late Gordon John Kea.  Loved and remembered by her children David (predeceased), Joe (Elaine), Kevin (Brooke) and Karen Kelly (Ryan).  Loving Oma of Becka, Sarah, Casey, Chris, Brodie, Justin, Mac, Lauren and Gage and Great Oma to Chase, Logan, Skylar, Adelynn and Kohlson.

Carrie was born and raised in Louisburg, Nova Scotia. She loved an east coast ‘kitchen party’, step dancing and fiddle music.  Carrie and Gord bought the family dairy farm in 1967 and she was dedicated to raising their 4 children and tending to the homestead, preparing without fail 3 meals a day for 35 years.  They loved to vacation in warmer climates.  Her love of the sun & beach brought her and Gord to eventually move to Wasaga Beach.   She loved curling, country music, and watching The Voice and American Idol.  Spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren was a favourite hobby.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Carrie at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry on Friday November 1, 2024 from 4 – 7 PM.  Private family ceremony will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood would be appreciated by the family.  Friends may send condolences or make donations at www.lowandlow.ca
