Captain John Kuipers

Peacefully, with Joanne by his side on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 56. John Kuipers, dearly loved husband of Joanne (nee Sytsma). Loved father of Amanda (Edward McLean), Lindsay and Chelsea (Patrick Lapienis). Loving Opa of Ewan. Dear son of Nelly and the late John Kuipers. Cherished brother of Janet Seymour, the late Wilma Vanginhoven (John) Sandra Burghraef-Burbine (the late Jim and the late Rob), Jim Kuipers (Kim), Eleanor Wielemaker (Ken), Ron Kuipers (Diana) and Jennifer Vanderkooi (Roger). Johnny’s larger than life personality will be missed by everyone who knew him. 

Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry (905-985-7331) on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 5p.m. until 7p.m. A Celebration of John's Life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 4p.m. with a reception to follow.
